Mischos Waterfall
North of Mischos village in the prefecture of Rodopi, lies an artificial photogenic waterfall. Right next, stands an old, abandoned watermill. Α natural pool is formed in front, where visitors can swim in the cold waters of the Aspropotamos river. The path to the waterfall starts behind the village mosque and runs along the river. It is a nice 5-minute hike, through a dense forest. The town of Komotini is in short distance (10'-15' by car), making Mischos waterfall an ideal for short escapes in nature.
