Church of Agios Nikolaos of Pouria

The whitewashed church of Agios Nikolaos in Pouria, is carved inside an impressive rock, on the site were an ancient limestone quarry used to be. It is located near the sea in Akra Pouria, not far from the beach of Molos in the northeast of the island of Skyros. The interior is small with only a few icons and only a few people fit in. Nearby is an ancient quarry and a windmill as well as the photogenic chapels of Agia Paraskevi and Agios Ermolaos.
