Pounda of Parikia beach

Punda Beach is an extensive sandy beach, located 8,5 km south of Parikia. This is one of the best places in the world for kite surfing, hosting frequently world championships. Here you will find restaurants, beach bars and water sports schools. You can also take the ferry from Punda and head to Antiparos Island.

A sandy beach with warm and shallow waters, thus perfect for both beginners and pros.

Consistent winds, mostly from North and Northwest (meltemi), ranging from 12 to 35 knots, blow sideshore or sideonshore. The season lasts from May through to September with perfect conditions when the thermal winds get up.
