Keros beach
A vast green, sandy and untouched nature with turquoise water, located in the heart of a Natura 2000 treaty-protected ecosystem. The beach is very popular amongst water sport fans. Since the area is protected, there is not a lot of housing available, except of two spots.
The bay is shallow and calm with moderate, yet constant Meltemi winds.
The season goes from May until October, but you will get the windiest days (16-24 knots) between Mid-June and Mid-September.
The spot one is one of the most versatile offering anything from flatwater to waves. It is perfect for beginners up to pros who prefer freestyling.
Winds kick-in early in the morning and are mostly side-shore, but sometimes turn off-shore in the afternoon. Therefore, you may find flat water in the north, bump’n’jump in the middle and bigger waves to the south.
