Amigdalota of Hydra
Amigdalota are among the most prominent local products and the trademark sweet of Hydra. They are worth trying during your stay on the majestic island as well as taking some back as a gift or souvenir when you leave. These traditional small, white, sweet bites are either square or pear shaped (typically shaped so for weddings) and are made from crushed and chopped almonds, sugar and rose water.
