Kalamata Marina
Kalamata Marina is situated literally next to the city’s center and the main harbor. Being on the passage from the Ionian Sea to the Aegean Sea and vice versa, it is the perfect starting point for exploring the Messenian and Lakonian coast, the islands of Kithira and Antikithira as well as many of the islands of the Ionian and Aegean Sea. Kalamata’s International Airport is about eight km from the marina and the city of Athens is a 2.5 hours’ drive via the E65 highway. The marina has a berthing capacity of 250 vessels with maximum overall length 25 meters and maximum draught 3 meters, and a dry dock capacity of 150 vessels.
