Lydi beach
Lydi beach is one of the wildest and most secluded beaches in Andros. It is located near Parapporti and the helipad, approximately 25 km from Gavrio, 27 km from Batsi, and 18 km from Korthi. This beach is mainly pebbles and stones with some sand in places. The water is very clean but it gets deep fast. There are no trees for shade neither any facilities in the beach, so bring your own parasol and some water if you plan to spend your day here. Lydi beach is exposed to northern winds. Our team would recommend to avoid visiting Lydi beach when north winds blow in the area as the ripple is very high and swimming can be extremely dangerous. Lydi beach is ideal for those looking for quiet and completely isolated beaches, as well as for nudists. Reaching the beach is not that easy, as it requires a 10-minutes’ walk along a steep path. To reach this beach, you have to head south towards Livadia and Syneti villages. At the intersection with the helipad, you will find the path that leads to this secluded beach.
