Myrtiotissa beach
Myrtiotissa beach is a little corner of heaven. An isolated beach next to the cosmopolitan beach of Glyfada, on the southwest coast of Corfu. It owes its name to the beautiful Monastery of Myrtiotissa which stands on the slopes of the lush green mountain, some meters above the sea.
Mirtiotissa is a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear waters, surrounded by a majestic landscape of lush green cliffs. The atmosphere is relaxed, pleasant and safe. This is a predominantly nudist beach of varying ages, so don’t be shocked. Although you don't need to get naked, be aware most people are. It is only about 80-100 meters long and 20-30 meters wide. It is small but so beautiful! You can swim out a far way and there are a couple of rock formations you can jump of.
It is not organized; however, you may find a small kiosk that offers sunbeds, umbrellas, drinks and snacks. Access to the beach is by a steep set of steps in the rocks down from the road. Not suggested for the faint hearted as it is a reasonably steep climb down and back up. The beach is only suitable for nudists and naturists NOT for families.
