Agios Vasilios beach
Agios Vasilios beach is one of the many secluded beaches situated near Galaxidi town in the Corinthian Gulf, Fokis. This fabulous beach is just a few kilometers away from Galaxidi, on the way to Nafpaktos. Even though it is not signposted and hard to find it, it is worth the effort to get there if you are looking for seclusion and peace. Agios Vasilios is a lovely pebbly beach with clear and clean water. Entrance to the water is easy, though there are large pebbles in the first few meters. The road going down to the beach is a dirt road with a small parking space at the end. Above the parking lot, there is a small canteen for snacks and light meals, overlooking the bay. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available only in high season, so it would be a good idea to bring your own equipment and a pair of sea shoes as well. Agios Vasilios beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the prefecture of Fokis. A visit is definitely worthwhile if you are on a road trip, in this part of Greece.
