Church of Agios Nikolaos
The tiny, quaint chapel of Agios Nikolaos is the landmark of Rafina. Built on a small hill above the port of the city, it offers wonderful views over Evia and its southern Gulf. Due to its position and the amazing views it offers, many people choose it for a wedding or baptism.
It is one of the main attractions of the city and many people come to light a candle and enjoy the unique view. It was designed and built in 1947 on top of a multi-firing position, inside of which (today the basement of the church) the church of Agia Marina was built.
