Monastery of Agios Georgios of Naousa
Located near the harbor of Naoussa in a mountainous area, with beautiful views of climate and Naxos, Folegandros or Koufonisia. It is the most picturesque monastery of the island, built in the 17th century and houses the tombs of important personalities among them the pirate Gkrevelier.
There is also a storey hostel, oil mill, dormitories for visitors and monks cells, dining, while the exterior is characterized by vaulted basilica with two towers.
One of the most important monasteries of the island with interesting interior and renovated facilities despite the considerable damage suffered.
