Church of Agios Nikolaos of Karpathos
The chapel of Agios Nikolaos gave its name to the small fishing village and port of Spoon. Saint Nicolas, patron saint of the seamen is celebrating on December 6th. Because the chapel has no cupboard, a sheltered space for the feast, the residents lay stalls in the yard and eat fish.
