Moggonisi

One of the two small islands in the south of Paxos (the other is Kaltsonisi on which is the church of Saint Spyridon, 1680). It is joined to Paxos by a small bridge and has a sheltered sandy beach (the only sandy beach, the other beaches are pebbly) between the island and the islet of Moggonisi. Close to the beach you will find a few restaurants and a small harbor. In the area, are the very impressive and "mysterious" Moggonisi caves, which indicated that were the lair of the Nereids, the sea nymphs.
