Cave of Papanicoli
The most famous cave is Papanikoli’s Cave. Its name comes from the submarine "Papanikolis" as it is said it used the cave as a base during the Second World War. It is a sea cave at the southwestern of the island. Its length is 120m, its width varies from 60m near the entrance to 23m inside the cave, its depth is about 30m and it is sandy inside.
