Stavros - Vigla - Panagia of Vouvon - Symiakos - Panagia Faneromeni - Livoskopos
The route starts from the byzantine chapel Stavros (1) where you arrive either by car or through the route. The trail weaves on the slopes of Vigla, where you will come across the entrances of some old mines. After reaching the col (the gap, pass between mountains) (2), one can break away from the route and set uphill course to the right, marking their own way to the top of Vigla (3), the island’s highest summit.
The route continues on to a dirt road until the Panagia ton Vouvon chapel (4), then follows a downhill course, reaching Drapano area (5). Turning to the right, the beautiful beach of Livoskopos is the next stop (6). If, instead, you head left, you will find yourselves at the Panagia Faneromeni chapel (7) and Simiakos bay (8), where you might just be lucky enough to encounter sea seals.
