Rhodes - Kritika
This is a lovely and easy coastal path that starts at the southern end of Psaropoula Beach near the city of Rhodes and goes all the way to Ialissos. Actually, the path goes as far as the outskirts of Kritika village. Along the 1,800 meters long path, there are stone benches and small auditoriums where one can sit to relax and enjoy nice views of the endless blue of the Aegean Sea. Half-way there are some steps leading to a non-organized pebble beach. Although the beach is a bit stony, swimming there is great. The trail is well-organized with stone walls and wooden rails for the safety of the hikers. Hikers can return through the same route or via the road that connects Ialissos with Rhodes Town. Do not miss to visit the well-hidden small Archangel Michael Panormitis cave chapel, next to the main road.
