Hydra - Chounda Riga

On the beach, the first street (Alphabank) on the left, after the flying dolphin, leads to the stadium of Hydra and then to the pine-covered area of the Monastery of Agia Fotini.

Starting from the monastery of Agia Fotini, we follow the dirt path and after a while we meet "Milos", an 18th-century stone building, which was a wheat processing plant.

At this point the road is divided into two paths leading to the Monasteries of St Matrona and the Holy TrinityFrom the Monastery of Agia Triada we go to Agios Nikolaos.

From Agios Nikolaos we walk on the dirt path that leads to the Klisabrini area. In this area there is an old threshing floor and cistern, from the middle of the 19th century. Continuing, the road narrows and becomes richer to finally lead us to the Chounda of Riga.

The place name translates to Nose - Edge of RigaFrom this point on, the visitor can unfold his look and release any sense of the endless blue of Myrtoo Pelagos.
