Prophet Elias Monastery - Episkopi
This small route is necessarily combined with Chora Route - Monastery of Prof. Elias - Eros peak as the path to Episkopi starts from the Monastery of Prof. Elias.
This unifying route follows the western slopes of mount Eros and then the ridge that ends in Episkopi and meets Chora Route - Episkopi - Monastery of St. Georgios Bisti. An impressive route to a bare landscape with a little bushy vegetation that in many places moves on a stone-made path and passes through the chapel of Ag. Mamas offering a beautiful view of the island's southern shores.
The end of the route is in the village of Episkopi, where it meets Chora Route - Episkopi - Agios Georgios Bisty. From Episkopi there is the choice to move to Ag. George Bisti, or to get off the coastal road in Chora.
The combination of these routes makes them big and arduous and requires the experience and good physical condition.
The route is not marked but the paths are distinct.
Ground condition: Path 5,6 km (96%), dirt road 200 m, asphalt 0 m.
Marking: In the first section until Ag. Mama is not marked. From St. Mama up to Episkopi there are red marks.
