Benitses is located on the east coast of the island and only 12km away from the city of Corfu. It was the first tourist resort of Corfu and its reputation had surpassed the narrow boundaries of the island and Greece.
The village is built at the foot of a hill and despite the huge tourist development the place preserves its natural beauties and uniquely combines the sea with the mountain. Also, in Benitses you can discover innumerable nature trails and therefore go hiking or cycling. In front of the village is the organized beach with fine pebbles and a marina with all the infrastructure for boats. It is definitely worth visiting the Marine Museum, which has a huge collection of shells.
In the area of Benitses and along the beach there are restaurants of all kinds, accommodation, cafes and bars, where you can enjoy high quality of services and goods.
