Kavos is located in the southern part of Corfu, about 45km away from the city. It was the Cavo Bianco of the Venetian period and the point that the famous naval battle took place between the Corinthians and the Athenians during the Peloponnesian War.
The main features of today are the organized beaches and the very intense nightlife that you cannot miss to mention. The party in Kavos starts early in the afternoon, when the tourists wake up and bars remain open until the early morning hours. In addition to the intense nightlife, the visitor in Kavos has the opportunity to enjoy water sports as it has a beautiful and long beach of 1.5km. Kavos is connected with Corfu city by buses that make many daily journeys and is also famous for its countless accommodation, restaurants and bars.
