Milia beach
An absolutely beautiful beach with pebbles that become sand very quickly. There are sunbeds you can rent and a restaurant to get a coffee or have a meal. While there are areas where you can put your own towel or parasol, it is worth noting that some of the pebbles can be quite large. This long bay emerges after a small trek through a thick pine forest and has clear and clean water. Flanked by pine woods that tinge the transparent waters with a green blue, this cove is undoubtedly one of the most scenic of the island of Alonissos. Milia is much smaller and quitter than neighboring Chrissi Milia, but does get quite busy during summer, so try to get there early in the morning or late in the afternoon, to enjoy it most. The beach is great for swimming and perfect for snorkeling. Located just five kilometers northeast of the harbor of Patitiri, it can be easily accessed by car, bike or on foot from Patitiri, but there is also a boat that can take you there.
