Agii Apostoli beach
This is a local beach with lots of families enjoying it. A beautiful panoramic beach, clean with shallow blue waters and great views of the bay. The water is calm and very safe for kids. At either end there are small rock pools and places to explore and a small church on top of the hill. The snorkeling along the horns of the bay is excellent as there is plenty of little fish to see. If you stand still in the water, the fish will come and nibble at your feet. Here, you can find everything you may need. Chairs with umbrellas to rent and a few bars above if you need food or drink. There is also free car park, a play area behind and a nice park for walking or cycling. Overall, a nice beach to spend the day and enjoy swimming in the beautiful clear Mediterranean Sea. The beach is located 3km west of Chania and has easy access. It is just a short bus ride from Chania and can be also reached by bike or on foot. Agii Apostoli beach gets busy at weekends as the locals like it a lot, so try to be there in early hours.
