Ritsa beach
This is a long pebbly beach that starts very close to Kardiamyli and stretches for about a mile. The first section nearest the village is very narrow and has sun beds and parasols. Then there is a long section that is very quiet and at the far end it is much more commercialized with plenty of sun beds and you can hire paddle boards and canoes there also. All this beach is very pebbly so beach shoes are advisable. The water is warm and crystal clear, great for swimming and snorkeling, but with only a few fish to see. There are trees along the roadside at the top of the beach if you do not have shade, and many places to eat and drink. Access is easy and you can park your car very close to the beach. Overall, it is a lovely quiet beach, suitable for families and a great place to relax and enjoy the sun and sea.
