This is a fantastic place to visit. A must-see museum, and a great informative experience for both individuals and families. The museum is very informative and educational in an interactive environment created to reach out to children and people who may have irrational fears of these reptiles. There is a very big variety of snakes, lizards and tortoises from across the globe with very friendly and informative staff. There is a small entrance fee which is literally nothing compared to the maintenance costs and the reptiles exhibited. The museum is housed in the Giannakis Watermill, one of the several watermills in Edessa, near the famous waterfalls. The Reptile Museum belongs to the Municipality of Edessa and is open daily throughout the year. Entrance for EDESSA CITY CARD holders and children under 6 years of age is free.
