Markos Vamvakaris Museum
This is probably the most representative museum of the island. It is hosted in the house of the greatest Greek singer, musician and composer, in his hometown, Ano Syros. Apart from the fact that you will have the opportunity to see a traditional mansion house of Syros, several works, photographs and personal items of the famous composer are displayed in the museum. A journey into the world of genuine Rembetika (urban Greek folk music), songs that marked the Greek music history.
