Agia Anna beach
It is 3 km from Chora. Both in the small church of Agia Anna and at the beach of the same name you can go through a path that starts from the left side of the car park. On the right side there is another path that follows the 400 meters you reach another beach, much smaller, also called Agia Anna. This beach with clear waters is characterized by two large rocks. For those who love hiking or if you have a mood for a nice walk in the sun, the beach is connected to Chora by a path that starts behind the parking area near Kato Gitonia and crosses the area before you reach the sea (1 hour walking). The view of the bay leaves you speechless, it is just perfect, with rocks scattered along the coast with deep blue sea color. Right in front of you is the small Megalo Viokastro island, on your left hand there is Mikro Viokastro. This is a postcard landscape. To your left you can get a taste of the monastery. The landscape where the monastery is located is impressive, perched in a cave of the mountain of Prophet Elias.
