Agios Prokopis beach
This is a lovely beach with super clean soft sand and amazingly light blue waters, great for taking some Instagram worthy photos. You should beware if young children are swimming as it does have a sudden drop which then becomes deep. Agios Prokopios beach is massive so it rarely gets overcrowded. It has lots of organized sun beds and plenty of restaurant options for eating or grabbing a drink. However, there is free space as well as coves and rocks at the end of this beach if you want remote and quiet.
The highlight, however, are the beautiful sunsets. Located in a quite sheltered from the northern winds cove, the sea is calm, great for swimming and fantastic for kids. It is also very nice for sunbathing or walking along the shore and highly recommended for relaxing moments and chill vibes. This is one of the best beaches in Naxos and has been awarded several times for the quality of its water on both a Greek and international level.
It is located 5km away from Chora of Naxos and close to the homonymous town which itself is also well catered with everything from a supermarket and restaurants to small shops. Agios Prokopios beach is easily accessible by bus or car from Chora and has plenty of parking space.
