Plaka beach
A lovely long stretch of sand and sand dunes that seem to go on forever. The four-kilometer-long beach stretches from Plaka all the way to Agia Anna. It is a beautiful beach, nice for long walks and you can stay to see the sunset. The sea is crystal clear and the sand is notably more soft than other beaches in Naxos. There are loungers and umbrellas associated with the cafes and restaurants that exist adjacent to the beach, but also lots of areas that you can bring your own or lay your own towel. The beach is also great for water sports. Plaka beach is ideal for either sitting in the sun, under an umbrella or going for a swim. A regular bus service to/from Naxos Chora is available in peak months, if you do not have your own transport. Highly recommend a visit to this beach.
