Tsoukalia beach
Located on the northern coast of Paros, Tsoukalía Beach is a stunning blend of sandy shores and pebbles, offering a peaceful escape for visitors seeking a quieter spot away from the crowds. Situated beneath the picturesque Antikefalos Hill, just north of Molos, the beach is surrounded by only a handful of family-run hotels and private homes. The shoreline is lined with tamarisk trees, providing natural shade and making it an ideal place to unwind and relax.
Ideal Conditions for Wind Surfers
Thanks to its northeast-facing orientation, Tsoukalía Beach enjoys the cool embrace of the Meltemi winds during the summer months. These winds bring gentle waves, creating ideal conditions for wind surfers. Watching surfers glide across the water and challenge the waves adds a dynamic charm to the beach, enhancing its relaxed and carefree atmosphere.
A Quiet, Unorganized Beach
Unlike many of the more developed beaches on Paros, Tsoukalía Beach is unorganized, meaning there are no sunbeds, umbrellas, or beach bars. If you're planning to spend the day here, it’s recommended to bring water and snacks to ensure you’re comfortable throughout your visit.
How to Get There
Tsoukalía Beach is approximately 14.4 kilometers (around 25 minutes) from Paroikia and 8.3 kilometers (about 17 minutes) from Naoussa, two of the island’s main towns. A dirt road south of the beach will also take you to Molos Beach, which lies behind the scenic Antikefalos Hill.
The Perfect Spot for Relaxation
Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, enjoy a peaceful swim, or simply bask in the natural beauty of Paros, Tsoukalía Beach is the perfect destination. On calm days, when the northern or northeast winds subside, you can fully enjoy its crystal-clear waters and serene ambiance
