Klisidi beach
Kleisidi is a beautiful beach in Anafi, known for its crystal-clear waters and fine sand. The beach is located east of the port of Agios Nikolaos and offers a wonderful view of the tiny islands of Makra, Ftena and Pachia. The sandy beach stretches for hundreds of meters and is lined with palm and tamarisk trees that provide natural shade. It is sheltered from the winds and has shallow water, so it is very safe for families with young children. Near Kleisidi beach, there are tavernas, cafes and rooms for rent. Camping and nudism are prohibited; however, you might see some campers.
Access to Kleisidi beach is very easy. You can get there either by car, moto or ATV. There is a parking lot and a short path leading to the coast. If you do not have a car, there is a bus that runs from Chora to some of Anafi’s most popular beaches, including Kleisidi beach. For hiking fans, there is a trail from Chora to Kleisidi, also a path from Kleisidi to other beaches on the south coast of Anafi like Katsouni (10-15 mins) and Flamourou beach. Kleisidi beach is 4.7 km (8 mins) from Chora and 1.2 km (3 mins) from Agios Nikolaos, the main port of Anafi.
