Paradise beach

Paradise is a very popular beach along the south west coast of the Kos, 7 kilometers before Kefalos and 33 kilometers from Kos Town. Paradise by name and paradise by nature. Although called Paradise Beach it is also known as Bubble Beach, as result of bubbles percolating up through the water. This phenomenon is caused by volcanic gases being pushed to the surface from the sea bed. It is a long stretch of golden sand with crystal clear water situated within a natural bay. The water is warm and stays pretty shallow for a long way out, so, very safe for families. There are lots of little fish that make it ideal for snorkeling. Sunbeds and umbrellas are available as well as a variety of watersports. There is also a number of bars, restaurants and taverns along the beach.

Paradise beach does get rather busy, however there is lots of room to spread out the beach mats and towels. There is something here for everyone, relaxing in the sun, water sports, swimming, food, drink or just taking a stroll along the beach. The beach can be easily reached by car. You can drive down and park right beside where there is an ample parking.
