Panteli beach
Panteli Beach is a popular town beach situated in the picturesque Panteli Bay on the eastern side of Leros. The beach is sheltered and usually calm, so perfect for yacht mooring and families with young children. Overlooked by the ancient Panagia Castle and the iconic windmills of Leros, this beach is very attractive and swimming there is such a pleasure. It has crystal-clear waters and all the amenities such as fresh water showers, changing cabins, sunbeds and umbrellas, for an unforgettable day on the beach. Along the roadway, there are bars, coffee shops, tavernas and mini markets as well as lots of hotels, rooms and studios for daily, weekly or monthly rental. The beach gets very busy during the summer months, so try to get there early to find a sunbed. If you are looking for some peace or quiet, we would recommend choosing a different beach. Panteli beach is 1.4 km (5 mins) from Agia Marina, 3.7 km (8 mins) from Lakki and 9.2 km (17 mins) from Partheni. All in all, this is a great beach to spend the day, swim, enjoy a meal by the sea and the atmosphere of this picturesque destination.
