Livadi Geranou beach

Livadi Geranou is a quiet beach, on the northeastern part of Patmos and one of the most popular beaches on the island. It is a sandy beach with some small pebbles, crystal clear, turquoise waters and unique views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding islands. The seabed is just as beautiful and ideal for snorkeling. It offers no sunbeds but the tamarisk trees along the beach offer natural shade.

Livadi Geranou is protected by summer winds, due to the protection offered by the tiny islet of Agios Giorgios, located across the beach. On the islet which is at a swimming distance, there is the small chapel of Agios Georgios (St. George) and a sandy beach, that awaits you to discover.

It is situated 13 km from the island's capital and 9 from the port, Skala. At its one end there is a small tavern which opens in the summer, serving coffee and food. Reaching the beach is very easy. You have to drive towards the beach of Kampos and then all the way to Livadi. If you take the public bus you have to stop at Kambos beach. After a 35 minutes’ walk through the coastal path, you find this beautiful beach.
