Faliraki beach (Main)
Faliraki beach is lovely but very busy. It is probably the most popular of all beaches in Rhodes and the place you can find anything you can possibly ask for. The beach is very long with plenty of sun beds to hire and many restaurants and bars in the back. The restaurants stay open until the evening and there are also lots of places to get drinks and ice creams. Here you can also find nightclubs, places for shopping, luxury hotels, suites and apartments to rent. At the Faliraki Water Park, you can have a great time, enjoying long water slides, black holes, wave pools and much more.
The beach itself has fine sand and is very suitable for children with clean and shallow sea. The water is calm with no rocks or pebbles and there are lots of water activities by the beach if you are interested. At night time you could sit on the loungers and enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax in the warm breeze. Overall, it is a great place for all ages and a nice beach for swimming and snorkeling. If you are planning to visit Rhodes, just add this to the list of beaches to visit. Faliraki beach is 14km from Rhodes Town (20 minutes’ drive) and 18km from Rhodes Airport.Access to the beach is easy by any kind of transport. It is connected with Rhodes Town with regular buses throughout the day and the ticket costs only a few euros. You can also reach it by taxi or car if you have hired one. It is good to know that a free parking area is available by the beach.
