Nikotsara or Lechouni beach
Skiathos beach Lechouni Nikotsara. The beach Lechouni or Nikotsara is located about 6.5 km from the city of Skiathos, in the region just below the monastery of Evagelistrias, the visitor sees a splendid natural embrace, the small and beautiful beach of Lechouni.The beach is rocky with white pebbles and has a wild beauty and is exposed to the north wind. The road is smooth and leads down to the beach. The beach is not organized and its natural beauty is unchanged. Next to Lechouni is Megas Gialos.The local tradition says that here is buried the hero of the Revolution of 1821 Nikotsaras, so often mentioned with the name Nikotsara.
