Milia beach

Milia beach is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular beaches on the island of Skopelos. Surrounded by a beautiful pine forest, it has gray coarse sand mixed with pebbles and transparent turquoise waters. The verdant islet of Dasia opposite the beach provides nice view from the beach, adding to the idyllic scenery.

A rock in the center of the beach splits it into two sections: the left part gathers more visitors as it is highly organized with a beach bar, lifeguard, parasols and sunbeds, while the other part, is quieter and it has both an organized part and another where you can plant your own umbrella. It is one of the longest beaches on the island as it extends in both directions. It has a very beautiful seabed making it ideal for diving and snorkeling. It is worth staying till late to enjoy the most majestic sunset.

The popular beach is located on the west coast, 1 km north of Panormos bay and about 15 km from Skopelos Town. Access is very easy either by car or by bus. The bus stops at the top of the road and it’s a long trek down the winding road to the beach. Behind the beach there is a tavern, some rooms to rent as well as a free parking lot.
