Kedros beach

Kedros is a gorgeous beach, an easy walk from Stavros. It is located in a sheltered small bay in the south of the island and is popular with naturists and the vast majority of visitors are nude. The beach is a beautiful crescent of golden sand and clear turquoise waters. Just a few meters off the coast you can see the remnants of a sunken German ship from World War II. The ship was sunk by the Allied forces during the war. Kedros has no amenities, however there is a beach bar where you can get snacks, drinks and food. If you are there outside of the May/June or September/October months you will find the beach crowded.

Kedros is only a few minutes’ drive from Chora. The road ends above the beach and from there a cobbled path leads down to the coast. Hiking lovers can walk from Chora along a well-made designated walking path. The walk takes about 20’ minutes. Alternatively, you can take one of the small boats from the port of Donoussa.
