The beach is fully equipped with all the facilities, including beach bars, restaurants, comfortable sun beds, umbrellas, tennis courts, football pitches, a go-kart track at St. Peter’s, and other amenities. It also offers many opportunities for water and extreme sports suck as bungee jumping. Moreover, there are countless of clubs with swimming pools within walking distance from the beach which are packed with young tourists’ day and night. From Kavos beach, you have a wonderful view of the mountains of the Greek mainland, and the Ionian Sea.
Kavos beach is located on the south east coast of the island of Corfu, approximately 47,4 km (1 hour and 12 mins) from Corfu Town. Even if the beach is so far from the capital of the island, it is not necessary to rent a car. Corfu Town and Kavos are very well connected by buses. From Kavos, there are daily organized trips to the unspoilt islands of Paxos and Antipaxo, as well as boat trips to Albania, to visit Butrint National Park, and the seaside resort of Agii Saranda.
