Tris Klisies Beach
Tris Klisies Beach (also known as Tris Eklisies) is a small, but stunning beach in the southern part of Ios. It is a completely secluded beach with golden sand and crystal-clear blue waters, ideal for nudists and people looking for isolation. To get to Tris Klisies beach, you will need to drive on a dirt road until you reach the small church of Agia Triada, and then hike along a small path for about 10-15 minutes. The beach was once the old port of the island as it is well protected from the winds. The rocky coastline surrounding this gorgeous beach is ideal for snorkeling, fishing and diving as there are still remains of the old port on the seabed. Tris Klisies is an unspoilt beach with no facilities such as sunbeds, umbrellas and beach bars, so if you decide to visit this hidden paradise, remember to bring plenty of water, and something to eat in case you get hungry. Also, bring suncream and an umbrella for shade as there are only a few of trees that provide shade. Tris Kleisies Beach is about 17.7 km (34 minutes) from Ios Town, on the way to the popular Magganari Beach. To the south is the isolated rocky beach of Kalo Avlaki, accessible only by boat. Overall this is a great beach to visit if you are looking for quiet and secluded beaches to spend the day.
