Hill of Agios Panteleimonas
Walking to the top of this hill is a highlight. The hill is a very relaxing area with great views from specific spots and an excellent place to exercise or just walk. The woods are beautiful and thick and hard going at times, but you will be rewarded when you get to the top. The view of Florina and the surrounding hills is marvelous. On top, there is a small church dedicated to Agios Panteleimonas next to a huge cross 32 meters high and a bit lower an ancient Hellenistic city. Three trails lead to the top of the hill, all well-marked and easy to follow. So, stroll to the top to enjoy the magnificent view and on the way back stop at the archaeological site to admire the ancient city.
