Agia Marina
Agia Marina is a little, picturesque fishing village, 13 km east of Lamia in the prefecture of Fthiotida. Among the most important attractions is the old railway station and the bridge for transferring minerals from the Domokos mines to cargo ships. The patron saint of the village is Agia Marina with the homonymous church of the 19th century which celebrates on July, 17.
Along the coastal road there are traditional fish tavernas serving fresh fish and other delicious seafood. Agia Marina has a sandy beach and for many decades it was a very popular destination for swimming for the people of Lamia during the summer period.
