Agios Kyprianos

Agios Kyprianos is a charming and peaceful seaside village located in the eastern Mani region, just 3 km from Kokkala in Laconia. Named after the nearby church of Agios Kyprianos, which is renowned for its impressive frescoes, the village celebrates its patron saint every year on October 2nd. Agios Kyprianos has preserved its authentic local architecture, with traditional stone-built houses that reflect the essence of Mani’s heritage. However, unlike other villages in the region, it is not marked by the imposing towers that are so characteristic of Mani.

As the seaport for the neighboring village of Lagia, Agios Kyprianos is home to a picturesque little harbor, which is arguably the most enchanting spot in the village. Next to the harbor lies a small, serene pebbly beach with crystal-clear emerald waters, perfect for a relaxing swim or a quiet afternoon by the sea.

Due to its off-the-beaten-path location, Agios Kyprianos remains relatively untouched by mass tourism, offering visitors an ideal escape for those seeking peace, tranquility, and a break from the crowds. Whether you're looking to unwind on the beach or explore the village's traditional charm, Agios Kyprianos is the perfect destination for a quiet, authentic getaway.
