Symi Festival
Since 1995, Symi has hosted the Symi Festival in July through September. The festival was founded by the Greek political journalist, John Diakoiannis, who was founded in the birthplace of the father of Eleftherios G. Diakoiannis. Since its inception, it has attracted many Greek musicians to perform at free outdoor concerts in the central square of Yialos. The events will be closed in September with the second Simi Film Festival, featuring short films with entries from 134 countries.
