By Boat
From Igoumenitsa
You can travel to Paxos Island by ferry from the port of Igoumenitsa in northwestern Greece. There are at least two daily ferries from Igoumenitsa to Paxos all year round and the journey takes approximately 1,5 hours. The port of Igoumenitsa is 470km from Athens and 323km from Thessaloniki. There are daily buses to Igoumenitsa from both cities throughout the year. If you are travelling by plane you can either fly to Corfu and catch a ferry from there or fly to Aktion or Ioannina and catch a bus to Igoumenitsa..
Connection with other islands
There are a few weekly crossings from Corfu to Igoumenitsa throughout the year. Those travelling without a vehicle can take a hydrofoil passenger ferry from Corfu to Paxos. For those travelling by car unfortunately there is no direct transportation to Paxos, therefore they will have to travel to Igoumenitsa and catch a ferry from there.
