Livadi beach
Livadi a wonderful, secluded beach, near the village of Mersini, on the southern side of the island. It is a favorite destination for free campers and nudists and the ideal beach for those seeking tranquility and relaxation away of modern life. The coast is covered with smooth sand and water is just like everywhere on the island: clear, in different tones of green and blue. The beach is not organized and the only tavernas are 900 meters away in the village of Mersini. On the beach there are few tamarisk trees that offer natural shade to visitors. It is possible to reach it by boat from the port of Stavros or via a short but rough path, starting from the village of Mersini. The path is in a beautiful scenery and the view it offers is amazing. Halfway, there is a spring with springling water where you can quench your thirst under the shade of a plane tree.
