Porto Koufo beach
Porto Koufo is one of the largest and safest natural ports in Greece. It is located in the Toroneos Gulf, at the southwestern end of Sithonia in Halkidiki. It encloses a lovely narrow beach, blessed with shallow, crystal waters and plenty of room to spread out. Porto Koufo is suitable for families who simply like quiet beaches that offer moments of relaxation and tranquility. Due to its geographical location, it is wave-free, making it very safe. The beach is organized in places but most of it has no amenities at all. It is a great place for diving, attracting many free-divers in recent years.
At its northern end lies the fishing village of Porto Koufo, which is home to a cluster of traditional tavernas, serving fresh fish. There are also some hotels and apartments in the area for your stay.
