Klimataria beach
This is one of the most enchanting beaches of Sykia, Halkidiki. The beach has fine golden sand in and out the sea and crystal-clear turquoise water. The bay is well-protected and even on a windy day, water is calm, thus very safe for families with young children and non-swimmers. The beach is well-organized with all the amenities including sun loungers, umbrellas, changing cabins and showers. A couple of beach bars are also available for drinks and food, and a tavern too. Snorkeling is good with lots of fish to see, and if you stay till late, you will enjoy a stunning sunset.
Klimataria beach is located approximately 15 km south of Sarti. The best way to get there, is to drive to the southernmost tip of Sykia beach and then follow the signs. Access is a bit tricky and the road is narrow, so drive slowly and carefully. On the way to the beach, you will come to a point with panoramic view of the beach from above. It is worth making a stop to capture some great photos of the bay with the turquoise water. Klimataria is a very picturesque beach to visit, but during summer gets overcrowded especially on weekends. So, if you are looking for a quiet place to relax, best time to visit it is the off-peak season.
