Vlichada beach
An absolutely stunning beach on the east of the Peloponnese. Vlychada beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area of Zarakas with white pebbles, turquoise waters and breathtaking red rocks surrounding the beautiful bay. The combination of blue and green is striking and the tranquility it offers unique. Vlychada is a very peaceful beach with literally nothing except a small canteen during high season. At one edge, there is a small structure with a toilet and an outdoor shower. This beach never gets overcrowded, so it is the best place to relax, sunbathe and enjoy swimming. The water deepens fast but it is clear and clean. Vlychada beach is located 7 km east of Richia village and is accessible by car, but it requires careful driving. The drive through the mountains and down to the remote beach is pretty tight, steep and winding but well worth it. Note, that there is no mobile signal here which may be an advantage. Vlychada beach is a hidden gem of Lakonia and a place we would definitely recommend you to visit.
