Church of Panagia of Astipalea
The church of Megali Panagia is located in Chora. Its name is due to the fact that it formerly considered it the largest church on the island. The church is also known as the temple of the Kecharitomeni Panagia. It is believed to have been built in the 18th century and its main feature is its courtyard, with the 1879 black and white pebble floor.
