Church of Taxiarchis of Pyrgi
In the southern part of the village of Pyrgi, in Portanato, is the temple of Taxiarchis. It is a one-aisled vaulted basilica with blind arches on the long sides inside the temple. On the right and a little higher than the lintel of the entrance of the church, in a built stone plate, the date 1680.
